Trützschler’s TRUECYCLED solution for Textile Recycling is making waves in India, marking a transformative leap in sustainable yarn production. Following Usha Yarn’s pioneering adoption in 2023, ten additional Indian mills have joined the movement, creating high-quality recycled yarn from pre- and post-consumer textile waste. Equipped with Trützschler’s T-Blend and carding machines, these mills are redefining circularity and catering to a growing demand for eco-conscious Fibers in India and beyond.
TRUECYCLED offers a complete recycling process, from cutting and tearing waste to carding and drawing secondary fibers, allowing manufacturers to achieve premium yarn quality even from hard textile remnants. Indian partners, including Anangoor textile mills, Eco Spin Yarn, Fabtech International Hosieries and Sri Velayudhaswamy Spinning Mills, are leveraging this technology to produce daily outputs ranging from 8 to 36 tons, with recycled material proportions reaching up to 100 percent in certain lines. Each mill benefits from a tailored setup, combining T-Blend blow room lines and Trützschler carding machines, ensuring yarn meets both domestic and export-quality expectations.
Industry leaders are hailing this milestone as a pivotal step toward circular textile value chains. By transforming waste into valuable yarn, these TRUECYCLED adopters are advancing sustainable manufacturing and demonstrating that innovation and responsibility can go hand in hand. With further expansions planned globally, Trützschler continues to champion a future where textile waste becomes a resource, supporting a cleaner, greener and more resilient textile industry.
