The GCCI Textile Task Force will host the fourth annual Textile Leadership Conclave 2025 on March 8th (Saturday) at a city club, bringing together vital stakeholders from the entire textile industry, encompassing technical textiles, ginning, spinning, weaving, garmenting, and textile machinery manufacturing.
The GCCI Textile Leadership Conclave 2025 will facilitate productive discussions, share industry knowledge, and promote partnerships between experienced industry figures and up-and-coming textile startups. Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) President Sandeep Engineer emphasized the conclave's role in sparking progressive conversations and practical solutions for the textile industry, reiterating the commitment to "driving innovation, fostering sustainability and enhancing collaboration to position Gujarat and India as global leaders in the technical textile sector."
GCCI Textile Task Force Chairperson Mr. Saurin Parikh stressed the urgency of adopting sustainable practices and advanced cultivation techniques to boost cotton yields, stating, "We must aim to increase our current yield from an average of 461 kgs per hectare and try to match the global average of 850 kgs per hectare. We will be discussing the challenges and solutions at the event."
